Dreamlight High School

About Us

Dreamlight High School is a nonprofit Adult High School dedicated to helping students in the city of Apopka, Florida that offers virtual learning tutoring or onsite service.

Purpose

Dreamlight High School is a fully Non-Profit Virtual High School that was created by Dr. Stephene Loremy in March 2017 in Apopka, Florida. One night, as Dr. Loremy was thinking about his goal to build a high school to help dropouts and people who did not have a chance to earn a high school diploma, the name Dreamlight High School come into his mind. Ultimately, Dr. Loremy created the school to help people from other countries with an incomplete education or high school students who were unable to pass their state-required tests. This provided these students with an opportunity to receive a high school diploma. In addition, many professionals and business people who function without a high school diploma have the opportunity to participate because Dreamlight also offers virtual learning. Thus, the school is open to help everyone, and each person can work at their own pace.

Dreamlight High school was created to give unfortunate students a solid chance to learn how to read and write. Thus, they will be able to function in the world and make a better life for themselves. Dr. Loremy believes that without a high school diploma, a person’s choices are limited and life will be even more difficult. He built this school partly to help people who come from other countries without a complete education or the ability to pass state-required tests.

Dreamlight offers its services to all people 16 years old and older. Students enrolling in a program must be aware that this course will take approximately three to six months if they are looking for credit recovery otherwise. The school requires that all students read and follow the rules that we put together so that the course will work for them. Dr. Loremy designed the program for every age group, high school dropouts, young adults, and busy parents who are unable to be present in the classroom. They can participate either at home, at work, or anywhere with the intent to continue their education.

Indeed, Dreamlight is a K-12 school that will bring multi-programs in the future for all ages. However, at this present time, we serve only 9-12 grade adult students. We are currently using the Abeka curriculum for all grades. Dr. Loremy’s passion is for everyone without distinction to have a diploma.
